This riser was rigged in-house by our own team and is ideal for use with swing moorings, buoy systems, temporary anchoring points or holding setups in working harbours.

The steel eyes are robust enough to take load-bearing shackles and chain connections without deformation, and the fully sleeved rope body gives maximum abrasion resistance, even in tidal conditions or rough bottom contact.  The wear sleeve has been fitted around the thimble for extra protection.

The riser shown here is a perfect example of the type of custom-made mooring solution we supply directly to marinas, boatyards, ports, and marine contractors across the UK.

Built using 36mm polysteel rope, protected in full-length wear sleeves and finished with steel eyes, this setup is ready for work in tough, high-load marine environments.

The polysteel rope is:

• 36mm fully stranded

• UV, salt, and abrasion resistant

• Heat-sealed and hot-spliced

• Strong, reliable, and low maintenance
