Product Description
Nylon Thimble
SKU:T-NT12
Manufactured from high-strength, weather-resistant nylon, these thimbles offer a practical alternative to metal fittings in environments where corrosion, weight, or electrical conductivity may be a concern.
Nylon does not rust, making it particularly suitable for marine and outdoor use where constant exposure to water and weather would quickly affect unprotected metal components.

Product Description
Nylon thimbles are designed to reinforce and protect rope eyes in applications where corrosion resistance, low weight, and non-metal components are preferred. Installed inside the loop of a rope or cable, the thimble maintains the correct shape of the eye and prevents wear caused by friction against shackles, hooks, or other fittings.
One of the main advantages of nylon thimbles is their ability to resist corrosion completely while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. They are also non-sparking and non-conductive, which makes them suitable for applications where metal fittings may not be appropriate. The smooth surface of nylon also helps reduce abrasion on synthetic ropes, extending the life of the rope and reducing maintenance requirements.
Nylon thimbles are commonly used with synthetic ropes such as polypropylene, polyester, and nylon lines. They are widely fitted in marine mooring lines, small craft rigging, agricultural equipment, and general rope assemblies where a strong but lightweight reinforcement is required.
Typical applications include:
• Reinforcing rope eyes in synthetic rope assemblies
• Marine mooring and small boat rigging systems
• Agricultural and farm equipment rope connections
• Towing and general securing applications
• Lightweight lifting and rope rigging systems
Because nylon does not corrode, is lightweight, and resists weathering, these thimbles are particularly useful where long-term outdoor use is expected and metal fittings would add unnecessary weight or risk corrosion damage.
Available for bulk purchase, nylon rope thimbles are ideal for marinas, boatyards, agricultural suppliers, and marine equipment distributors who require reliable, non-corrosive rope reinforcement hardware for regular
